A rare Worcester porcelain teabowl and saucer, c. 1770. Finely painted with ‘Fancy’ birds, in elaborate gilt scroll panels, and further panels containing insects. All upon a ‘Blue Scale’ ground.

Dr Wall period.

Underglaze ‘Hatched’ square marks to the bases.

Height of teabowl - 4.2 cm, 1 5/8”.

Diameter of saucer - 11.7 cm, 4 5/8”.

Condition - Perfect condition. No damage. No restoration..
