A pair of early Staffordshire square base figures. One is a figure of a lady archer with her bow and target, dressed in typical Regency dress it is often thought to be modelled on Queen Caroline, the figure is in good condition but the turquoise enamel on her jacket has chipped slightly. The other figure is a well painted allegory of Water with her fish and trap. The figure is a nice example with perhaps a little restoration to the top of the hat. The two have been together for some time and perhaps always a pair.C.1820.
