An exceptionally good Royal Worcester hand painted and artist signed 20 piece tea set from the early puce mark period. This is a full size tea set not a miniature one.

Fully hand painted with app. half the set by Harry Ayrton and half by Edward Townsend. All pieces signed.

All pieces fully Factory marked in puce with date codes for the late 1930's

Superb original condition, no chips, cracks, rubbing or restoration.

The original gilding with barely a mark on it.

The tea plates app 7" (18cm) across

The tea cups app 3.5" (8.5cm) across, excluding handles.

The saucers app 5.5" (14cm) across

The cream jug app 5" (12.5cm) tall.

The sugar bowl app. 5" (12.5cm) across.

Not many opportunities today to buy such a fine set.
