This very well detailed VICTORIAN MAJOLICA GAME PIE DISH dates from circa 1880.

It is modelled as a woven basket with holly branch handles and pie crust rim. There is a GAME BIRD on the top of the cover, its raised wing forming the handle, surrounded by ferns, flowers and other foliage.

It is in good condition with just minor nicks to the underside of the cover.

There is no restoration.

It will certainly impress your guests when brought to the Dining Table full of culinary delights.
