Description

A fine Royal Worcester cabinet plate decorated by Raymond Rushton with a springtime rural scene. A beautifully fully hand painted example, not to be confused with the usual transfer print and infill examples usually seen.

Large central painting surrounded by an acid etched gilt border.

The rear of the plate has the quality signs of a gilded foot rim and Factory markings in gold.

Dated to c1926, signed R Rushton, app. 27cm dia.
