Description

This magnificent PAIR OF VICTORIAN BLACK & WHITE STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS date from circa 1850.

Their well-painted faces, which have long muzzles and large open eyes, give these DOGS immense character. Their coats are well-feathered and generously painted.

The DOGS stand approximately 11.5 inches (29 cm) high.

They display beautifully and would make a great focal point in any room setting.

The condition is good. The left side DOG has a small glaze chip and old hairlines to the back which are quite stable. There is no restoration.
