This delightful JOSIAH WEDGWOOD & SONS ETRURIA COMICAL FISHING TILE is entitled 'FOLLY' and dates from circa 1880.

The hapless Angler sits beneath his umbrella, whilst the rain falls, hoping for a bite.

The TILE is mounted in a black lacquered frame, ready for hanging.

There is a glaze miss to the bottom right corner.
