This is a beautiful Majolica casket stamped to the base with the artists name A J Holdcroft in a lovely turquoise blue. The box is raised on winged bird claw and ball feet and has a distinct Japanese influenced design with oriental motifs and borders. The box dates from around 1890 and is in lovely condition. It measures 20cm by 20cm by 12 cm

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
