Royal Worcester Cased Coffee Set Decorated with Scottish Castles.

Description

A fine and rare Royal Worcester coffee set of demi tasse size decorated with Scottish Castle scenes by Harry Stinton. A Factory marked set with date codes for c1939. All pieces signed Stinton.

Very few sets of these Castle decorated sets have been seen, this is a perfect original example with no damages or restoration.

The cups and saucers have the Castle titles in script underneath, Dunolly Castle, Invergarry Castle, Dunvegan Castle, Dunstaffnage Castle, Blackness Castle and Stirling Castle.

The cups app. 5cm high and app. 5cm across. The saucers app. 10cm dia.

The presentation case with minor wear only.
