This super ENGLISH BLUE & WHITE TRANSFER PRINTED STAFFORDSHIRE TWO-HANDLED TUREEN AND COVER dates from circa 1850.

It is a very attractive shape and decorated with scenes of Classical Ruins. The cover has an aperture for supporting a ladle.

There is an IMPRESSED 'S' on the base.

This TUREEN would grace any kitchen or dining table.
