Pair of Chinese Blue Glaze Parrots 19th Century

Description

This is a beautiful pair of Chinese porcelain parrots in a delightful blue glaze which date from the mid 19th century. The parrots are perched upon knotted tree stumps and have hardwood stands. Both parrots are in very good condition. The blue glaze is perfect to both with lovely antique craquelure and a delightful patina.

The parrots come with a later custom made case and shipping document .

These stand 28.5 cms tall including the stands.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
