Late C19th Staffordshire pottery Chinese-style barrel-form garden seat or side table by Copeland Spode.

Well-decorated Chinese-shaped barrel seat with pierced body and seat top . The sides with 2 bands of raised moulded 'stud-work' decoration . Decorated in a typical English late C19th palette of green and pink/mauve hues with wild flower, bud and leaf printed pattern .

Under-glaze blue Copeland Spode mark to the underside, together with a scripted red pattern number .

Would work equally well in an interior or exterior decorative scheme or in an orangery or conservatory.

In excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. Minor firing cracks to top .
