Large Victorian Staffordshire Figure of Garibaldi C1860

Description

This striking VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURE, entitled GARIBALDI, dates from circa 1860.

It stands an impressive 18.75 inches (48 cm) high. The title GARIBALDI is painted in gilt on the front edge of the base.

The FIGURE is in good condition with no cracks or restoration. There is a glaze graze to the nose, rubbing to the gilt and some kiln discolouration caused in the making. It displays beautifully.
