Rare Octagonal Pearlware Teapot

Wonderful Staffordshire Pearlware teapot of octagonal form. The gallery with a moulded acanthus leaf motif. The fluted spout and thumb rest of the C-shaped handle also with moulded acanthus leaf decoration. This teapot has lovely hand painted decoration to the body and lid. A swan knop finial finishes off this teapot.
 
Possibly manufactured by Thomas Harley of Longport, Staffordshire, England.
 
Circa 1805.
 
Slight hairline to the body and the usual nibbles to the spout and one nibble to the lid. (See photos)
