Rare Large Wemyss Forget-me-nots Basket

1900 - 1920
Description

RARE largest size Scottish Wemyss Ware basket with rope twist handle. Green decorated handle rim and base with very rare Forget-Me-Nots main decoration. This basket is beautifully painted, the flowers are sharp with great detail. The basket has the impressed wemyss marks and the painted T Goode mark to the base.

Minor restorations.
