Pair of Red & White Staffordshire Dogs with Baskets C1860

Description

This charming PAIR OF RED & WHITE STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS, both holding baskets filled with colourful flowers in their mouths, date from circa 1860.

The Dogs have well-defined coats and attractively painted faces.

Condition: Good. There is a very thin sliver of mostly glaze off the base of the left side DOG, ending in a small chip to the toe (please see photographs). Only a small amount shows when the DOGSare in situ. There are some small, old glaze nicks and grazing commensurate with age. There is no restoration.
