For sale is this magnificent large Japanese Imari lobed dish, decorated with a bijin in a gardern with young boys playing with two dogs all within borders of cranes and birds within panels and scrolling flower heads. This dish is 37cm in diameter and approx 6.8cm high. This fine dish is undamaged in any way and has no chips, hairlines or and restoration, which is rare on a dish of this size. There is slight wear to some areas of gilt and a small amount of glaze wear in the odd place as you would expect to find. A very fine and rare large Imari dish dating to the 18th century.
