A charming late eighteenth century creamware coffee pot. The pot is transfer print in black on both sides with period scenes, one of a tea party and the other of a lovers walk. The lid is sparsely printed with sprigging. The pot has a chip to the lid and repaired chip on the lip on the spout but ither than that is in remarkably good condition. The pot is unmarked bu the transfer do look like those used in Liverpool. C.1780
