For sale is very fine Arita blue and white dish of small size dating to the second half of the 17th century. With a diameter of 21.7cm it is rare to find in undamaged condition, no chips, harlines or restoration and not even any glaze crackle.The under glaze colour is of strong blue tones copying the chinese Wanli period examples, but the Arita examples in such a small size and in this condition are seldom found.
