Japanese Imari Pair of Teabowls and Saucers, Early 18th Century

Description

For sale are these very fine pair of early 18th century Japanese Imari teabowls and matching saucers. Both teabowls and saucers are very finely potted and decorated with two bijin and a floral decorated cart carrying a large jardiniere holding floral sprigs and ribbons. One teabowl only has one small rim fleabite and related hailine, with the other teabowl and saucers free from damage, hairlines, and any restoration. There is slight wear to the gilt decoration in the old place.
