Victorian Majolica Pedestal Jardiniere Stand Column

Description

Victorian (late 19th Century or possibly early 20th) ceramic majolica jardiniere pedestal stand column.

Planter lifts off the stand.

A rare decorative find. Lovely crazing and age to the glaze.

Overall maximum dimensions: Base 32cm diameter, 60cm high, Pot 36cm diameter, 26cm high.

Overall height 86cm.

Some enamel crazing and a few minor chips (to be expected), but still looks the part and is very impressive. There is an historic repair at the foot of the base.
