For sale are these pair of the finest quality Japanese Satsuma shallow dishes manufactured by the Yasuda Company Tokyo, signed by the artist Kizan and both dating to the Meiji period. Both dishes are undamaged in any way and only one has the slighest of rubbing to the gilt rim as shown in the pics. Each dish bears the signature on the Artist and the Company. Both are approx 21.5cm in diameter. Each decorated with butterfly amongst Iris and Chrysanthemum on a gilt dot back ground. Very Fine
