Pair Of Victorian Staffordshire Dogs

A charming pair of Staffordshire pottery dogs, of typical form with very well painted faces and coats, of dark reddish brown, the painting is interesting as one dog is lighter than the other. There is a firing crack on the reverse of one and some glaze loss on the back of the other as can be seen in the photos. C.1860.
