Pair of Walton Staffordshire Pearlware Figures of Sheep

Description

These are a pair of very charming Staffordshire Pearlware figures of sheep by John Walton, dating from around 1800. There are some areas of damage / restoration and some small areas of rubbing and flaking to the paint on the figures as per there age but these retain a great depth of colour and are still in fairly good condition bearing in mind their age.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
