For sale this rare Japanese large Imari soup bowl dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. Diameter 26.2cm and 4.6cm deep it is attractively decorated with a background in dark underglaze blue of rich tones. Undamaged and unrestored it just has the glaze shrinkage cracks that are common on this early ware.
