Samson of Paris Wine Cooler, C.1850

Description

This is a beautiful hard paste porcelain wine cooler by Samson of Paris which dates from the mid 19th century. The wine cooler is in the the oriental Chinese style with armorial crests. The handles are in the form of the head of oriental men. This is in excellent order with no restoration and a good crisp clarity to the beautiful hand painted designs. This dates from around 1850. The wine cooler is 17 cm high and is 20 cm in diameter.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.

You are most welcome to visit the shop but please always check to confirm we are open before travelling.
