For sale this very fine 18th century Japanese Imari foliate rimmed shallow dish decorated to the centre with a gilt chrysanthemum head. Diameter 28cm and 5.2cm in height. Only 1 small rim chip and no cracks or restoration. The underglaze blue of dark inky tones. A fine large early dish with bright gilt work and iron red that is hardly worn.
