Japanese Late 18th Century Large Circular Dish Decorated With Crane And Fish In A Landscape.

On offer is this fine late 18th century large Japanese Imari dish decorated with various crane in different pursuits in a rocky landscape with pine, around a central roundel decorated with two fish in pool. With a diameterof 40.5cm the dish shows on light wear to some areas of gilt. The reverse is further decorated with eight roundels in underglaze blue with the eight horses of Wang Mu.
The dish is in excellent undamaged or restored condition.
