A fine and large example of a mid eighteenth century English Delft Charger. The charger is decorated in blue, with a stylised oriental scene with swans swimming in the foreground. The central and outer boarders are quite unusual, and indicate the charger was probably made in Liverpool. The condition is good, there are no cracks and the only issue is some typical fritting of the lead glaze on the edge. C.1750.
