Japanese 18th Century Pair Of Imari Dishes, Circa 1770

On offer are these very fine Japanese 18th century pair of Imari dishes, circa 1770. Each approx 19cm in diameter and both in excellent undamaged condition. Both dishes are decorated in underglaze blue of darkish tones with overglaze iron red, blue, green, and yellow enamels highlighted with gilt. One dish with outer edge glaze pooling to the underside and slight glaze shrinkage cracks that are restricted to the glaze only.
