Description

This charming PAIR OF ANTIQUE STAFFORDSHIRE COPPER LUSTRE DOGS, with very expressive eyebrows, date from circa 1880.

They stand approximately 10.5 inches (26.5 cm) high.

The condition is good with only minor glaze misses and glaze flakes. There are a couple of tiny nicks to the footrims. The COPPER LUSTRE decoration on the right side DOG is slightly darker having been placed in a slightly hotter part of the kiln.

There are no cracks or restoration.
