A wonderfully charming Art Deco period porcelain figure of a a penguin. The penguin is modeled as standing on the ice looking to the left, the glazes are beautifully handled with flashes of pink and blue in the ice, the penguin with bright yellow front, and back in shades of black to grey. The figure is hollow with indistinct makers marks underneath. The condition is excellent, and with its large size it is a real Art Deco statement piece. C.1930
