Fine Pair of Staffordshire Dogs C1860

Description

With finely-molded faces, tightly-curled tails and a superior air, this PAIR of ANTIQUE STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS would be declared 'Supreme Champions' is ever there were a 'Cruft's' for Staffordshire Dogs.

They stand approximately 12.5 inches (32 cm) high and date from circa 1860.

The condition of the DOGS is good. There is no restoration. The left-hand DOG has an old, feint hairline running down the front from just above the collar (please see photograph). This is not open and is quite stable. There is minor paint loss to the muzzles.

A very proud PAIR of ANTIQUE STAFFORDSHIRE SPANIELS which display beautifully.
