Description

Encrusted with flowers and highlighted with gilt, this ANTIQUE PORCELAIN PASTILLE BURNER dates from circa 1850.

The detail to the decoration is notable. FOUR DOVES are perched on the roof and beneath the eaves are two BIRD'S NESTS filled with eggs. An old besom broom lays on the ground at the back of the cottage.

The COTTAGE has impressed brickwork detail and the bricks on the chimneys have been painted in BEST GOLD.

The condition is good. As can be expected with a piece that is so delicate, there are some minor chips to the flower petals and minor restoration to two of the birds.
