A charming and highly decorative 19th-century German porcelain scent bottle with original stopper, dating to circa 1850, beautifully modelled in the style of the celebrated early Chelsea porcelain scent bottles.

This delightful antique piece depicts three children at play beneath a flowering tree, richly adorned with applied floral encrustations, accompanied by a charming dog figure at the base. The original stopper is wonderfully formed as a roosting hen, adding character, whimsy, and rarity to this finely made porcelain collectible.

The underside bears a gold anchor mark, inspired by the famous Chelsea Porcelain Factory mark, one of the most copied and admired marks in European porcelain history. This piece is understood to be a fine 19th-century German interpretation/copy of an early first-period Chelsea scent bottle, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and decorative appeal.
