Description

Derby porcelain Dolphin ewer, c. 1760. The silver shaped cream jug, having shell moulding, a scroll handle, and set upon a circular pedestal foot.

Hand painted with sprays and sprigs of flowers, in Meissen style.

Having a a dark red enamel rim, and the interior painted with a further sprig of flowers.

Condition – Chip to rim and handle. Some firing faults. Wear to the enamel – please see images for detail. No restoration.
