A Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester porcelain basket c.1820. Of lobed oval form with gilt gadrooned rim, loop handle with classical mask head at the centre and gilt seaweed background. The central circular well painted with a vignette in bright enamels with an exotic bird against a river landscape, in the manner of Charles Stinton. This basket has the unusual addition of the very finely painted naturalistic feathers which adds extra charm and uniqueness to this very fine piece.
