This fabulous pair of Sunderland lustre bowls date to around 1860. They are in excellent condition, no chips or repairs, there is a slight nick to the base of one which occurred during firing and is under the glaze. They retain their vibrant colour, true to the day they were produced. Decorated with masted ships, one with compass and one with sailor’s rhyme. If you are looking to add to a collection or indeed start one. Look no further, they are simply delightful and rare.
