Shaun King Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
It is one of the best examples to be found. It has a liquid glaze (please see close up photographs) and a clear, well-detailed transfer.
It is taken from an engraving published in 1811 of Nuneham Courtenay, 5 miles SE of Oxford, the Seat of Earl Harcourt and noted as one of the finest landscape gardens in England at the time.
There are no cracks, chips or restoration.
