Original, rare pair of English Staffordshire pottery large size separate leg spaniel dogs, circa 1860.

Splendid, bold and lively models.

Good early hand press moulded examples with lively highlights to the curly fur and gilt padlocks, collars and chains.

In very good sound condition, one leg has been re attached at the joint and some slight re touching to the black enamel.

Height 12" or 305mm

Gross weight 4.4 kilos.
