Victorian Majolica Jardiniere

Description

Here is a really beautiful Victorian Majolica Jardiniere decorated with vine leaves, and finished in hues of pinks, greens and golds and with a pale blue interior.

Standing 25cm tall, and 30cm across the top, this planter is in super condition with a bright shiny glaze and strong vibrant colours. The planter has the gentle surface wear that is to be expected of a piece of this age, but please note that the white marks on the surface in the photographs are light reflections and not chips!

The Jardieniere is of generous proportions and would certainly hold a large plant, or several smaller ones as I have displayed here - with the old Victiorian favourite of ferns!
