An early 19thC gilded hall mirror in a condition touched only by time. Original flat glass bevel edge plate. The gilded frame is complete with its outer bead rim and the intact gadrooned outer molding has its gilding slightly worn in places. The plate is surrounded with its outer gesso molding all in place. The ball decoration has gesso and gilding losses something which naturally occurs over time and this has been left untouched and unrestored as the mirror is charming as it is. Original wood back and wall hanging wire.
46 cm in diameter and the frame about 6 cm deep.
