A very rare early 20th Century pair of giltwood overmantel mirrors of grand proportions, exceptional quality and of an elegantly simple design. The mirror glass plates of rectangular form are set within finely hand carved, moulded and fluted giltwood frames with stunning motifs throughout comprising of fabulous arrangements of ornate and intricately detailed richly trailing foliate, scrolls, ruffles and lattice work against a beautifully decorative textured ground, supported on shaped platform base.
