A Fine Antique Gilt Oval Wall Mirror of Large Proportions. Sizes 163 cm tall x 111 cm wide. This wonderful mirror dates from 1860 and retains it''s original mercury silvered mirror plate, which has a lovely overall sparkle to the silvering, small area of foxing at extreme top and also at the base of the plate. Frame water gilded to the highest of standards using genuine 23 carat gold leaf. Original backing board. All decoration is wonderfully crisp and detailed.
