Large Scale Pair of Chippendale Style Swing Back Armchairs in Colefax and Fowler Ruskin

Description

An extremely comfortable pair of large scale wing back armchairs in the classic Chippendale style dating to circa 1910-1920.

This fine pair of superb quality chairs have been professionally re-upholstered in ‘Ruskin Green’ damask by Colefax and Fowler, beautifully finished in the traditional manner with matching ruche and braid. Both seats have new feather filled cushions. These chairs are extremely comfortable and must be seen to be appreciated. The solid and beautifully carved walnut legs are a fantastic feature.
