A well-proportioned and comfortable Welsh oak armchair, having a panelled back with a raised and ogee shaped fielded panel, with slim outward-swept arms above a solid seat, with a shaped front apron and ogee shaped side aprons, and raised on four square legs united by stretchers. The reverse of the top rail is stamped with the owners'' initials, ''RW RI (or J)''
