A good, sturdy set of six spindle-back dining chairs. They feature a shaped cresting rail with a carved fan above two rows of spindles. Large, solid oak inset seats are raised on attractively turned front legs. They are joined with decorative turned stretchers at the front and simple spindle stretchers at the sides and rear. They are in excellent color and condition.
Seat height of 45cm.
The carved fan in the crest rail is often called the Liverpool pattern, and the chairs were usually made in the surrounding areas of Cheshire or Lancashire.
