Antique Edwardian Sheraton Revival Dining Chairs Set of 4 C.1910

These particularly attractive chairs feature tall, slender backs with delicate turned vertical spindles, decorative arched detailing and small finials to the upper corners. The elegant proportions continue through to the finely turned and fluted front legs, giving the chairs a light and refined appearance typical of the Edwardian period.

Each chair has a generously padded upholstered seat finished in an attractive traditional striped fabric combining shades of red, green, cream and soft pink. The upholstery provides a pleasing contrast against the warm honey brown tones of the wooden frames.

The chairs have developed an attractive aged finish and retain plenty of period character. Their relatively light and elegant construction makes them particularly suitable for a dining room, occasional seating, bedroom or as statement chairs within a traditional or eclectic interior.

Presented in very good antique condition, with expected age related marks, small knocks, surface wear and variations to the finish consistent with their age and previous use. The upholstery remains presentable, showing some minor signs of previous use.
