A magnificent pair of antique Victorian balloon back chairs in rosewood and upholstered in buttoned leather dating from circa 1870. Really good quality examples with beautifully figured rosewood frames, carved cross rails, shaped cabriole legs with carved feet and beautiful mustard coloured buttoned leather upholstery finished in brass studs.

Good condition. Solid frames. Lovely age and patina to the rosewood. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Fairly recently reupholstered (a few small marks to the leather). Some old wire strapping underneath (see photo).
