A carved and gilded mirror of cartouche form
The top with a bold protruding carved acanthus leaves, over gilded rococo C-scrolls and S-scrolls, framing the original foxed mirror plate. The carved back with yellow wash, the mirror back boarded, beneath a single central hanging eye.
Italian, mid 18th century
H: 31'' (79cm), W: 21'' (53cm), D: 5.5'' (14cm).
